Maybe they’re going for a Walking Dead, everybody is Negan, sort of thing. It’s possibly the fashionable way to be a bad guy right now.

This is a waste of your time, but mostly because you’re not saying anything nice, or even useful. We vote because we care. We are bashing you because we care. If you don’t like wasting time: try caring about stuff, be about that stuff, then comment about that stuff. That is meaning. Yours has been anti-meaning.

Also,

I had to go looking for it... The scene I was referring to takes place at around 35 minutes of episode 3: The Stray. It ends with Ford telling Bernard: “Don’t forget, the hosts are not real. They’re not conscious.” It’s worth watching again now I think, and it also seems to be the first time Arnold is mentioned.

Same. I can’t run the mods because my lappy has an integrated/dedicated graphics combo (or I think that was part of the problem for me). This Skyrim runs better, and looks nicer. I appreciate that the water flows more realistically. I also don’t notice the grass pop in at the recommended settings, which made me sad

I don’t think Ford is plainly evil. To me he’s more like god complex & hubris personified. Ford appears to have stopped liking people early in his life, so he tried to build better people. His “better” people might be people too now, though. If Ford truly believes his creations are alive, then he’s killing to protect

I notice now that Bernard was given a lot of waking up scenes, like the other main hosts. I didn’t personally guess it until he said: “What door?”

The scene where Ford tries to reinforce to Bernard that the hosts aren’t alive, is extra interesting now. Is Ford telling himself that it’s not real, or is he just excited

You’ll never be elected president with that attitude...

Yeah, you’re probably right too...

It is all a part of the problem. This reality is a lot of damn things. We can’t just keep seeing whatever we want to see, and fighting whatever we want to fight. There are a lot of battles out there that need to be won, and they’re just not going to feel as good as social progress,

We don’t get to pretend anymore, that this country is changing fast enough. We’re all going to have to face this head on. We can’t live a lie, and Democrats can’t try to lead based on that lie. It’s time now to be strong, and to work to break down the things we (safe, secure, white, etc) weren’t letting ourselves see.

This kind of stuff always freaks me out, but I thought it was pretty painless and interesting for an existential slap to the face. Thumbs up!

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I wanted to say that with my other reply, but I ran out of time editing it. Thanks for sharing your story, and I hope you keep doing so. I was also sexually assaulted by a man, but under different circumstances. I’ve told that story when it makes sense to. Together we can educate

I’m sorry that happened to you. It’s stories like these that will help people think about it more, and perhaps make better decisions if/when the time comes to act. I know that many young men encourage each other by saying all sorts of demeaning things about women, and I’ve always told them to stop, but other people

Yeah, I figured it’s like you said. I was not hurt by it at all, and I probably should have wrote it like that.

It was so weird to see everybody just looking the other way. Hopefully people read stories like ours and will be more ready to do something/anything if they see that happen around them.

Hope this guy inspires some people!

I have been outside a bar where somebody was being sexually assaulted as her friend cried for help, and maybe 10 people were ignoring them (including the bouncer who I confronted about it). I didn’t kick his ass or anything (though I was ready to try), but I made enough of a

All I want is something with one of those new Nvidia cards that are supposedly full powered + a decent processor (high quality components); a keyboard that lights up in different intensities; a screen that looks great from any viewing angle; and an operating system that will probably be Windows 10, if I can turn that

I bought 3 games not on my wishlist (Michonne, Arkham Assylum/City), and feel pretty good about it anyway! Would have bought SOMA now if I didn’t get it a couple weeks ago.

I actually feel there is more investment in the myth of pragmatism, and that’s depressing. The myth of happiness is a lot more fun, and you can pretty much make up your own version, tweaking it here and there as you go. You can also involve people you love, but sometimes it’s a lot of work, and it doesn’t seem to go

I dig it. It’s like a cross between Masamune Shirow, and Yoji Shinkawa.
