@QLAB: Thanks big guy. And if you actually read my arguments you wouldn't be asking me to expand them. If I were to just leave it Android SUCKS then you'd have a point. But I didn't do that..or did I?

@shanklin2007: Android was the only viable alternative to iOS this year AND iPhone has been tied to ATT. All this will change soon. As for WinMo7 the largest plus is that the OS is the "same" across all devices. XBOX live doesn't hurt either. WebOs just needs some dope hardware.

@homewmt: Well I've used it and they have more similarities than differences.

I found this hilarious and live in Sac. I'd have probably framed it...after I slapped snot bubbles from the employee responsible. But I to digress.

@homewmt: Picking up Palms UI director is a HUGE plus for Google. As far as open and closed source I don't think that will matter to average non-techy consumer. I see PALM as having a great opportunity to be successful. WebOs is arguably the best mobile OS on the market. With some contemporary hardware the have more

@j3oomerang: @Qwertyfreak: Thanks for a candid response. I don't know much about Meego, but I do have plenty experience with Android. Needless to say I didn't find it refined or even a forward looking OS. I honestly reminds me of WinMo 6.5 on the HD2.

The ONLY reason Android will be dominant (temporarily)is because they give the phones away. Android is the new WinMo 6.5. Next year things will change dramatically. Soon it will be the most unpolished, fragmented OS of them all. WebOs/WinMo7/iOS are the OS's of the future. Enjoy it will it last Phandroids.

@CodeJanitor: I believe the standard is here and it's called wifi.

I love how all the Phandroids sworm to brag about their devices. Take a video and email it in under an hour...then come brag.

...... ..

Just in time for Winter...Another steaming pile of DROOOOID! ;)

Well doesn't this f'n SUCK?!?!

This is sick.

Fring does this also...

I am not surprised by this AT ALL. Android has been a hardware killer since inception.

OH MY GOD! iOS for the WIN!

Looks good.

@Teclys: As a commenter I still have an opinion. And to let you know, I've read up on this topic and all I saw was POLITICS! It seems like the whole "open source" movement is contradictory at it's very core. I'll leave you with this question: If this App is downloaded a million times, would it hurt Video Lan or help
