Just checked this and wow, surprisingly clever meta joke for a modern Disney Channel show!

oh, you…shouldn't have

I would prefer not to

This…doesn't even work, it's not even even anywhere near the expression on the original…this joke is entirely baseless…oh god, whatever internet

Yeah, same! The line reading felt very ambiguous bordering on "there you will find your doom/wait until I tell your mother what you're doing."

I hope this is meant to be humorous-but-sincere and not entirely sarcastic, because if so that's kind of cool. I mean, I had a good laugh back when this was the Internet Thing Of The Week, but I always liked how he did make a unique song that was trying to say, uh…..something. Whatever it was (wether or not you think

Ah yes, much better!

Also, does anyone else have an issue where if you edit a comment too much Disqus counts it as spam? I may have gone overboard because OCD/clarifying/spelling errors, but since I'm new to commenting I wonder if that's all it takes.

As far as the song being dated I personally loved how it sounded like a rave song from the early 2000s when the original show was on! Given how different parts of this world borrow from every Earth time period, why not? Dated to us is retro to them, thousands of years in the future.

Well going by the comments here there's a good chance the character could be every character from the old show that we haven't seen yet no matter height, weight, age, eye shape or gender.

I almost thought it was the three-eyed waitress lady from the pilot, who had a similar disguise in the "Swamp Monster" episode. The voice also sounded like the water monks from "Jack and the Traveling Creatures" but they only had one eye. But I've yet to rewatch every episode so maybe I forgot someone.

I wasn't totally sure if they were intended to be the same, but I *did* just realize they *were* British too (and least some of them), that's cool!

This is the the corniest review headline I've seen in a long time and it kinda just made my day.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that…and now it's all I'm gonna remember. As an artist with characters of my own I sometimes worry about stuff like that, it's a scary, lousy thing to happen.

But now Finn, Rey and Poe can save the day all over again!
…Before it's screwed up!

"….well, CHEWIE"

Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from as far as that goes. It didn't bother me because it goes back to the old show where it seemed like every peaceful community had a monster or criminal terrorizing it somewhere nearby. Past seasons only showed Aku taking in the desperate and needy asking for his mercy to

Yes! I think I've seen that photo before on a wiki or something.

Agreed, I hope that's where it's going! I'm already shocked that the Woolies are back and sound exactly the same, I like those guys! I really hope there's some of the dog people in the future, or their grandkids.

Right, I've been there with puppet characters of my own, ironically the one that was in part inspired by Gypsy. But I guess since it's just me, I'm more attached to that one and it's mostly an audio podcast character now, I modified things instead of scrapping it all and hiring a hypothetical actor with my non-money.
