Yeah I get it. It's just a shame that this stuff gets shared on a blog like this as if all seasons don't exist.

superpowers = you crash at higher speeds
I’ve always said and will continue to say that any winter tire comparison where the control is a summer tire can and ought to be discarded. The only people that drive summers in the snow are first time sun belt transplants, people who got caught off guard before they could switch to their winter tires/cars and morons.…
Counterpoint: most people in the US live where they shouldn’t buy winter tires.
You simply MUST run summer tires in the summer!!! Its absolutely necessary!!! Just look at how stark the difference is in traction when the temperatures hit 100 degrees!!! If you aren’t running summer tires you’re living dangerously!!
*shows a comparison of summer tires vs winter tires*
Dont most cars still come with all seasons? Wouldn't that be a more relevant comparison for most people?
Even with winter tires you run out of luck.
The question is would this contribute or reduce the overfishing problem...?
Yet another reason why I try to never ever let anybody else drive my car.
I’m Shocked!!! (Not really)
180 headers.
Equal length forward facing headers wouldn’t require this amount of space, it’s the fact that they are 180 degree headers (bundle of snakes) which sends exhaust from opposing banks of cylinders to each collector so that each collector sees exhaust pulses once every 180 degree rotation of the crankshaft. It’s the…
Wow....I guess I never realized how mechanically clueless most millenials are....
All these super-long explanations for over/understeer, it’s not necessary!
1. Tirerack wants to sell tires (and wheels/brakes/wipers), and is not a service for public good.
If you live where they have the streets plowed the same day it snows, then skipping on the snow tires (in FWD or AWD) is fine, IMO. However, if I lived where you have to drive over packed snow for days, then I would probably use snow tires.
If the road is an ice rink you should not be on it no matter what tires you have. Unreal test conditions. If you are like most people you get maybe 10 days a winter season where the roads are actually snow covered and the plow trucks have not been able to get to them yet. It is really pointless to buy snow tires for…
Yeah, if you can afford them and you routinely drive on hockey rinks, winter tires are a must.
