Man I love the look of that Lotus... but in terms of quality and reliability for a daily-driver, the Acura/Honda NSX blows the Lotus (or any British car really) out of the water.

You must not remember when airbags were just mandated in the 90s. Huge hubs, tiny horn buttons (or, if you’re GM, no discernable horn buttons, just a rubbery cover hiding the horn buttons.) I’m much happier with today’s steering wheels, flawed as they may be. The 90s were terrible wheels.

Misfiled.

“What makes Formula Drift different from all of the other racing series (emphasis mine) in America is not just the variety of cars that show up—everything from V8-swapped 1990s Nissan 240SXs to a 900 horsepower twin-supercharged Ferrari—it’s that they’re all competitive not really racing.

Exactly. This is racing:

Formula Drift isn’t racing. Full stop.

I hate most everything about NASCAR. From the restrictor plates, to the lack of road-course racing, to the fact that not one of the race cars are actual cars you can buy off the showroom floor.

If this causes more European companies to set up factories and build the product in the states, which is usually in the conservative south, that should give them greater political leverage in the long run against Republicans?

Yeah, I kind of wondered what they think they’re doing with that one. How much denim do we even produce in the US now anyway? I mean, I think Round House and Pointer Brand still use US-made denim, but I doubt either of them does that much business in Europe.

In fairness they started it with their 10%.

So if Trump actually takes the deal, doesn’t enact a tariff, and gets the EU to drop all of theirs, will Jalopnik post a big “well, crap, Trump did a good thing” article?

Dont worry Jalopnik is here to remind you that Trump is still very bad at deals and this is most certainly not Europe coming to the table but rather them really winning.

This simply can’t be. This is exactly how Trump is hoping his tariffs will work, which I have read on the internet, isn’t possible.

You left off functioning brakes, ignitions, fuel systems, steering boxes, transfer cases, coolant lines, gauges, springs, shocks, sheet metal, ...

Roll down the window a crack.

If you can’t figure out how to defog your window without an air conditioner, I don’t know what to tell you.

You got so many things wrong on this list. Do you even car, bro?

GM is Doubling Down On Sedans.

That “Dodge. Domestic. Not Domesticated” tag line.... that’s B.S.

I’m just here for the comments about the lead pic being a coupe...
