Said mini van was driving below the speed limit in the left lane? Or poking along, minding their own business in the right lane? Because that makes a big difference.

“The truck might also be called the Courier. Hopefully it looks as good as the old Courier or Bantam.”

I seem to recall being told that the Madison Avenue types involved in print advertising did not accept the 35mm as high enough resolution, and they demanded larger format cameras. We could be looking at one of those big box things or the contraptions with the bellows:

I think the auto winders did not become common, fast, or affordable until the 1980's or 1990's. The same for the plastic, black paint, and rubber grips on everything. If the photo was taken for a sales brochure, when the vehicle was new, then we are looking at a time when cameras were shiny metal.

1960-what? 24 exposure film roll and no auto winders.

It appears that Porsche overhauled it’s PR department and product rep staff at the beginning of 2018. In 2017, they were openly hostile, running everyone off. In 2018, they acted like decent human beings who were actually interested in selling automobiles.

The press release that the stub story was written from was 5(?) years ago. They might be making a lot more than 50/year of them by now. They got one or more of them used in the ROC race, so they aren’t vaporware. A lot of stuff that has been out for six years continues to be good.

I used the search function and took note of that stub article totaling 12 or so sentences, apparently based on (read: repeating) press releases, without any indication that the writer had seen the vehicle in person or driven the vehicle at all.

There’s a link on the left side of the page to a 2017 story proclaiming the Race of Champions needs a bitching camaro for anyone to care” (about it).

...and people still deny that there is an opioid epidemic going on.

I now understand the idea behind iridium spark plugs. Iridium is such a poor electrical conductor and the spark is measurably worse than steel, but they won’t foul, thereby extending the spark plug change interval to the expected life span of the car. The packaging on that car is so bad, it would probably cost

From the look of some of the jerry-rigged, duct-tape-and-bailing-wire, half-assed repairs I have had to fix on the used cars I have purchased, I would like to nominate most of the previous owners of those cars to the list of people who should have been excluded from being allowed to purchase them.

“...couldn’t quite put my finger on—until now.”

BRILLIANT!

I assert that “over engineered” is a poor phrase choice because the “engineered” part implies that it works, and the “over” part implies that it is better.

This should pretty much end the Nice Price or Crack Pipe article series of this website.

Seems the fault lies squarely with the event organizers, who are solely responsible for securing the course and keeping the spectators off of the racing surface.

That’s the Yandex search engine spider.

Corrected title:

Oversaturation to the point that any further mention causes an increasingly negative opinion from the population.
