I realize that a vast majority of them are not back home. I was specifically talking about deaths. I’ve been expecting to hear about a lot more than we’ve heard about. I’ve held out very little hope that most of them will make it back alive either through disease, murder, death in botched rescue operations, etc..

There were 276 female students kidnapped from that school. Fewer than a third have been released or escaped.  This weekend’s release represents less than 10% of the kidnapping victims.

Have any of them been confirmed dead? I figured a lot of them wouldn’t have survived this; I guess I was wrong. This entire thing is a day-and-nightmare clusterfucke.

As a parent, I cannot imagine the emotional torment that they all have been through. A parent maybe never seeing their child again. A child, subjected to a nightmare and to never see their parents again?

Nobody says being a journalist had anything to do with the trespassing charge being dropped. It’s being dropped because she didn’t trespass.

Guys I ended up moving to ND a month ago and even though I’m not super close to the protest there were protesters stopping at our small gas station a few weeks back to get water.

If they are trespassing it’s quite possible. Especially if they are commuting vandalism. One of the reasons you haven’t heard about any charges being issued despite hearing about the suits over the pipeline it self.
