That stood out to me too, then I kept reading:

This all day. Funny how men are all now it’s a problem if women were given a bit of an edge. What if the men in management positions were really shitty at working with a female boss? I could definitely see that.

Cry me a fucking river. This is going to happen more and more as men in traditionally overwhelmingly male industries, where they’ve been free to talk over and dismiss their colleagues, look around and notice more women running about, giving orders, getting ahead, and being taken seriously. Suck it up. Equality feels

I was so happy to read this headline on twitter this morning. Fuck backpage and fuck these guys. I spent months searching for my teenage cousin who was abducted, scoured the pages of that filthy fucking dirty site completely horrified by the children on there, worked with sex workers (who were helping me) up and down

God if Hillary said 25% of the things Trump said she would be deemed a “crazy bitch” and universally reviled (instead of just reviled by 60% or so).

unfortunately i don’t think so, but im just glad she’s in the world.

I’m 5'3" and I hardly ever wear heels. When I’m feeling *fancy* I wear booties with like 1.5" heels. I just don’t give a shit.

I’m a short person, and flats do nothing for my stumpy physique, yet I wear flats every day because my doctor scared me from heels at an early age.

But at least you’d be a comfortable lesbian.

I would wear Danskos. Alt-right folks would likely brand me a lesbian.

Even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes.

I was worried there for a second, but I just checked and agreeing with Sarah Palin is not one of the horsemen of the Apocalypse. Phew!

What would happen if a woman wore... flats?!?! Would the world implode?

I had a similar thing happen to me, but with a planned surgery. I had called ahead prior to the day of admittance to make sure everything I could think of would be covered for knee replacement surgery. Since the doctor and operating room costs were covered, I never thought to ask about the anesthesiologist. Came home

This goes to show just how screwed up our health care/insurance system is in the U.S.

Forget that, damn kid can wash dishes to pay his own bill. This is why I’m not having kids... Too expensive.

The best, the most luxurious...

Boy that must be a great baby if it’s worth forty bucks just to touch it.

What if the author chose not to link her identity with her writing precisely to avoid that kind of analysis? This insistence that an author’s biography can reveal deep and meaningful truths about their work tends to result in the pigeon-holing artists who are not white men.

Because as journalistic policy, opposing the reporting of the true identity of a globally famous pseudonymous person is insane.
