He’s a great presenter and host but a terrible actor who basically just plays himself in every single role.

After the horror of WW84 this might be a good thing. 

He’s a better actor when he has a director who gets the best out of him. The fact he’s basically been allowed to pick his own movies and staff for a lot of these films has made him put in piss poor performances that he thinks are great but any serious director would have not.
