I'm completely on board with you there. It's so over the top that it's just ridiculous. It's taking Born to Run and adding Roger Corman B-Movies to it with a dash of James Dean. (also, heck, half of the E-Street band is playing on this record. If you don't like this and you like Springsteen there's something wrong

1. Hearts of Oak
2. Tyranny
3. Brutalist Bricks
4. Shake the Sheets
5. Tell Balgeary EP
6. Living with the Living
7. Tej(?) Leo + RX

Two of the most terrifying innuendos I've ever seen in a cartoon, both in the same episode:

It's weird that I played a show with these guys (when they were in two different bands) in the drummer's basement in New Jersey.

"Put my fist in her like a civil rights sign" is a pretty strong contender in my book.

"You guys really need to check out the Cinematography down here, it's great…"

One of my favorite songs ever. I saw them on the "Clarity: 10" tour and when they played it I ALMOST got through without cracking a tear.

Brian Wilson: Don't you think that maybe you're just upset because I told you what I do for a living, and you got upset and *you're* letting it interfere with *our* dynamic?
Eugene Landy: Whoa. Brian. You didn't tell me what you did for a living…
Brian Wilson: Yes, I did!
Eugene Landy: You didn't tell me what you did for

Agreed. And by "Experimental Tones" they mean keyboards. Electronic ones being a staple in music for the last 50 years or so.

A complete lack of drums in the track, except for all of those drums in the track.

The Space is a bizarre place to play. It's a unique experience being paid $3.00 and a Sandwich.

THE MAD SPACE WING.

Really? You're pushing this? There wasn't ANY better new songs?

"Do it….Do it and I'll fuckin' spank you!"

I totally agree with you. They just have her doing Kristen Wiig characters, and I never found Kristen Wiig funny either.

What the hell, Step-By-Step picture without Cody? What kind of sick joke is this, AV Club?

We're going to have Babies!? That's wonderful!

DC Pierson just got even more awesome by putting "Thank You Mario But Our Princess Is In Another Castle" on this. Just an awesome song. The Mountain Goats had an AWESOME run of EP's with "Black Pear Tree", "Satanic Messiah", and "Moon Colony Bloodbath". (My personal favorite being the latter.)

I just started listening to Black Flag Post-"Damaged", and honestly, I love the later stuff way better. It was taking a chance and it hits most of the time. "Armageddon Man" is fucking awesome.

God this album is so good. The sounds on it are just flat out insane and amazing.
