@Mastrix: I bought those official Rock Band drum silencers, then trimmed them and replaced the original stock pads with the silencer pads. They are way more silent now, compared to how they were originally. Pretty sure they're even quieter then both of these sets as well.

I just got my CE copy, and I made sure to tell the lady that I wanted a copy WITH the sticker for 48 hours on it. Though, halfway through sentence she stopped me and beat me to the punch.
