I don't care when, but I want to see some work by Gilligan on HBO. The way his characters on Breaking Bad just seem to relish saying "fuck" leads me to think that he could achieve Deadwood levels of cursing-brilliance with HBO. And although Showtime and Netflix seem to be up-and-comers, I still feel like HBO is the

No! An illusion is something a whore does for…oh wait, never mind.

@Alien Jesus: Grab baby Holly and get the fuck out of here!

No.

And that old fart's name is Robin Williams.

After hooking viewers with the romance between the two leads, it’s frustrating to lose the thread and focus on what seem like trivial details at first.

Hell, Crystal Castles are hell bent on all their albums being self-titled.

*cringe*

Almost the whole album is 'singles'. It's packed with infectious hit after infectious hit. The first seven tracks are all ridiculously catchy.

The guys over at The Dissolve pretty much hailed it as a masterpiece and Glazer has proven himself to be a creator of beautiful and haunting imagery and tone. Sign me up.

It's good, but I don't know if it can reach the dizzying comedic heights of Ackerman's last sitcom - Room and Bored.

Carnivale - Ben Hawkins

He's so dull and uninteresting that they forgot about him.

"Oh no, the Duplasses were such a vital aspect of the show and will be missed" - No one.

I've recently began watching Carnivale and I'm completely in love with it. I understand that it's a niche, but it's just so beautiful and haunting.

If "The Millers" gets axed quickly, Martindale will hopefully be able to return to The Americans. Although I don't know if "The Americans" can possibly match the prestige of "The Millers", what with all those hilarious fart jokes.

I'm particularly excited for it because Gervais isn't attached. "Derek" is unbelievably terrible and Gervais has just become such an over-exposed and unfunny presence now. He's burned up his "Office" good will but Merchant, I think, has the potential to break away and become a really fun comedic character in "Ladies".

Maybe financially (although Monsters University and Despicable Me 2 were both in the top 5 earners for the year), but even at Pixar's lowest point (looks disapprovingly at "Cars 2" poster), it still trumps the slapstick and silly humour of those fucking insufferable minions.

I'm probably gonna get shit for this, but I feel like there an insidious reluctance to accept female directors in The AV Club. I'm not talking about Lena Dunham, but more subtle moments of sexism. Maybe it's not even conscious, but it seems so easy for people on the site to belittle the works of women. Keener and
