Hamilton was great in Dark Fate but honestly, I think the main difference is James Cameron.

Fun, light little movies, like them a lot.

That’s fair enough.

“We want the fun back in the Pirates franchise, what shall we do?”

You hit on it, its all about trying to make yourself and the event seem unique. However as someone who got married and has been to lots (and lots), your best bet is just accepting it probably won’t be unique (or anywhere near as much as you hoped). People want to see you and their friends/family and have a nice time,

Another great trailer (following TRoS one last week). Years ago a big studio spending 100+ million on making a Star Wars show with established big name talent would have resulted in people losing their minds in excitement...Now all some people can bang on about is Disney “ruining Star Wars” because of (insert reasons

I suspect a lack of continuity in characters may make a it a difficult watch; doesn’t the whole thing take place over a bazillion years?

And why shouldn’t they, its a terrific trailer. Damn the haters. ;)

People of different shapes, sizes and races coming together to defeat a common evil set over an epic soaring soundtrack; yep looks like Star Wars.

A rubbish Joker in DCEU’s worst movie...and that’s saying something given that their very best movie is a 6/10 (maybe a 7 on a good day). Up there with Amazing Spiderman 2 and Fan4stic as some of the most ill-judged comic book dredge.

Id be interested so see what Tom Hardy would have done with Rick Flagg. Its my understanding he left after his role was reduced somewhat (perhaps when Smith came on board and they gave the bigger role to the bigger star).

Rogan’s a fun actor but i cant see him in that role either.

I’m sorry but Luke running away for the entirety of TFA to be alone wasn’t enough of a hint he was unhappy/conflicted?

Downey is watchable in anything but that accent sure is...interesting.

Of all the Marvel characters law enforcement officers pick Frank to put on their gear...jeez. Either they don’t get the character, or (more worryingly) they do and think his behavior is aspirational.

Did no-one Todd “i’m making a proper film dammit!” Phillips that Nolan made the Dark Knight 11 years ago and not only is it entertaining movie with standout performances, direction and cinematography, but also loaded with topicality, ideas and analogy?

One of the refreshing things about Wick was it moved away from quick cuts and close-up shots and showed the actual action/stunts.

Agreed that characters are done in broad strokes, but Pratt and Dallas-Howard gained at least a little nuance by time the sequel came around.

Holland, not only the best Spiderman, but a talented charismatic actor who is the human manifestation of a puppy.

Looks fun. Titles still dreadful and Harley (like Deadpool) can come across as rather annoying, hope they tread the line well.
