Shame, Beyond is hella fun.

Maybe now the Fox merger will happen they wont just keep making X-men sequels by adding 10 years to timeline, pretending the characters are 10 years older by giving them a different haircut and changing their clothesand fronting them with a bored looking Jennifer Lawrence playing Mystique in name only.

I’m a wuss and that is not scary. Good call on leaving it to the imagination.

Nope, super sad here to. The mourning sequence and cameo after was masterful too.

I dunno...Derailed from the nostalgia fest (that a lot of fans apparently wanted), or maybe it was always plan to move Star Wars out of this rut it was in?

F Gary Gray is very much a safe pair of hands for something like this. It looks slick, fun and watchable and has a great cast.

Yep and its nice to see an inclusive cast.

I like Black Panther but Infinity War is by far the better movie IMO. Fair enough it doesn’t have the interesting political sub-text but it does have much more accomplished action sequences, stakes and is almost immaculately constructed. Whenever BP isn’t having interesting conversations  with its admittedly great

Looks Ok to me.

I’m gonna call it, that’s isn’t Bruce. hes locked in basement and Azrael is being him or he is under mind control from Ras...

There are very few things in the world less funny than that Playmobil trailer.

I thought this was pretty common IMO, not just marvel but all around Hollywood. i.e. You often get in a second unit director (Dan Bradley for Bourne, etc) for action who at very least helps compose the scenes, did I hear wrong?

I still cant figure out if Mamoa is a really a decent actor who hasn’t had chance to show what he can do yet (ala Chris Hemsworth in his earlier Marvel movies), or a much less charismatic and less interesting version of Chris Hemsworth.

I have a lot of time for her and she is right about a lot of things but when her and WB decided people wanted five Fantastic Beasts movies* its hard to like her all that much, ha.

Personally, i have not met a single person who didn’t like it, or at least enjoy it. I have met a lot of people who felt it was over-hyped but that is perhaps a over-expectation issue that a lot of films suffer from.

Congrats to Marvel and the BP team; BP is a good movie and I really dig its politics but the third act just doesnt quite work and its CG is occasionally very poor. Realistically i’d say BP is a mid-tier MCU entry however I know there’s a lot of people who have it top three. Me? I enjoyed Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers:

After Robin Hood this is the summers second big flop surely?. Interesting idea but just not grabbing me..the incoherent trailers do not help its case.

I see some stylistic choices being carried over (the ultraviolence namely) but little else. I’d (IMO) say the Netflix universe shares just as much as the Jane version as it does with the gritty yet nasty looking Warzone.

The notably superior Jon Bernthal take on the character does that to mob boss is S2 of DD. One of my fave Punisher moments.

Slither is one of the most under-rated horror comedies of all time, up there with Dale and Tucker Vs Evil.
