Not wanting to read subtitles is something that, you know, like Bong says, get over it. That being said, I think there are people with visual impairments who do benefit from a dub (even if not full audio description) being available. If I could make a comment about this guy’s work, specifically, it’s off-putting that…
Dubs are useless. You can’t appreciate the acting of the actual actors using a dub. You obviously need a very good translator for the subtitles but they aren’t also required to act which makes the original sound plus quality text translation the superior format.
And yet it’s the way people all over the world watch many movies that were shot in English. Indeed, they may watch them with subtitles in multiple languages.
