While I think the qualifications need to change to allow outstanding voice and mo-cap / acting reference work like Serkis' Gollum, it's essentially impossible for a judge to gauge what came from Andy and what came from one of many animators.

Yes! Every time i played this i though the same. And you are free to introduce any characters (pilots, commanders...). Just use the game missions and backstory, add people (good actors) and shake well (have a good director) :-)

Without question, the best SF action flick (ie, where discussion of serious themes / character development are not necessarily the point of the movie) I have ever seen is The Fifth Element. Awesome on every level!

love these movies so much. It's great because it was before all the huge orchestra and CG were added to movies. It's tense in the truest form. Dead silence can be horrifying sometimes.
