Pretty much. The idea that “it’s just hacking” is short-sighted and foolish when we live in a society where connected systems can literally be life-or-death affairs. Yeah, this time he hacked R* this time - but what if it had been a hospital? If he’s not capable of remorse and exhibited violence in custody, he’s a

What an absurd take. Do you actually expect every company to publicly announce ever single decision or idea they have?

So in the regards of any future plans, titles, and such being leaked, I say “you reap what you sow.”

Anyone looking at the last few months of PSVR2 and saying it’s not getting support is deliberately avoiding PSVR2. Maybe Sony’s messaging around it is bad but I’m quite pleased with the offerings. And there’s more coming. I just don’t know what the deal is with this site. There’s having reasonable doubts and side-eye

I’ll pay double if they can do something to keep people who don’t enjoy a game from making shitty comments about its DLC.

So you want money because they stole your likeness, the likeness you stole from a movie.... >.>

Yup, 1100 people and this is the content we get? Usually I side with the underdog, but at this point, it seems like the underdog screwed the pooch.

Yup. They’ve constantly put their own studio in danger for quick pay-days.

It is kind of embarrassing for Bungie devs to act like Sony is the villain in this when they threw away a fuck-ton of hype for Lightfall in the dustbin while being independent. The fact is they’re a bloated studio for the level of content they are making, they were complacent in their update qualities and they allowed

How is it insane? Look at all the first party studios that Sony controls. Insomniac, Sucker Punch, Guerilla Games, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studios, Polyphony Digital. What do they make? Bangers. Sony has some serious anti-consumer tendencies when it comes to hardware and their ecosystem, but one thing they do well

Considering D2 and Bungie were tailspinning and only getting more draconian about microtransactions long before selling to Sony, I don’t think there’s much spin to be had. For the record, I’m not a Sony fan and I’m not interested in a PS5 or beyond. XBox either, for that matter.

Pete wanted to retire and Sony had the biggest check.

I stopped caring about Destiny 2 when I found out the entire original campaign and the dlc I had paid for was being removed and I’d have to buy more DLC to continue playing the game I already paid for.

It remains to be seen how much of the studio’s recent problems are due to veteran decision makers within Bungie, or new expectations from Sony.”

It is Jason Jones, Pete Parsons, and (used to be) Luke Smith. These problems, these VERY SAME PROBLEMS, have existed since they launched halo on the Xbox.

Upper Management

Why does it feel like the recent decisions are basically Parsons and other execs fattening up their golden parachutes for the minute their shit vests?

Good. Bungie has mismanaged Destiny and the game has been bleeding for a long time.

Ubisoft VS Rockstar, 2 VERY different companies.

you’re shocked that they did the thing they do every time?

You've just made his point.

No one? Not a single person mentioned one of the great games of the last decade? Witcher 3 didn’t even make the list?
