I’ll mess around with the goofier appearances on repeat playthroughs, but I cannot get invested in the story if my player character looks like the dude who puts up No Trespassing signs in his ‘yard’ in spite of the fact that nobody besides his meth dealer has any interest in stepping foot on that property anyway.

I mean, I mostly play games on the Xbox and even I wouldn’t have thought of half of those games, especially since a lot of them sorta came and went without much ongoing conversation around them. So if you didn’t play them you’d probably forget them (I’m mainly thinking of Battletoads here, which is a game I played a

Ok, this Barbie movie sort of looks interesting and fun and....

“Ooh, Gurgi here for shootings and lootings, crashings and smashings!”

Because the other pillar of WB’s strategy is still “throw ip at the wall”, until they either collapse or publish Space Jam: Every Character is the Joker.

How many more years of physical media apologists before we can finally move on to the inevitable future? The PC master race did it quietly under the radar years ago but here we still are.

The less waste we manufacture the better and there’s very little reason to have a disk these days. Anybody crying resale doesn’t actually care about the devs and definitely shouldn’t be defending price increases that don’t actually even go to the devs. As for longevity, the nature of existence is ephemeral, everything

Confused by this article. It’s just a lore codex. Many games have them and they stated the reason here isn’t because the story is confusing but rather because the game jumps in right away on what is meant to be a massive story in scope and there isn’t a convenient way to stop the plot momentum to lore dump about a

What’s so surprising about this? Sony wants to cultivate its platform first and foremost; of course they’re going to prioritize their console. Microsoft also has a *massive* stake on personal computers, so simultaneous releases make perfect sense for them.

It’s not baffling at all. Playstation is still their focus. They don’t want people playing their games on PC, they want them playing them on Playstation. Where they can sell them on other Playstation games and Valve doesn’t get a cut. And their strategy makes perfect sense in that regard. Take games that, for the most

I like how none of the previews have said the story is confusing. Most JRPGs have this function. Yakuza Ishin had something similar. Something like this is helpful for a story with tons of characters and kingdom names.

At the very least there’s a very real lack of self-awareness in being able to type what they did and then tell someone else to “grow up”. Like, hoooo boy, real loudest-person-in-the-room energy going on.

Jesus Christ, man. Go outside and touch some grass. A difference of opinion this inconsequential shouldn’t get anyone this riled up. Like, you okay?

Whole lotta words to just say you have a different opinion on the game.

I dunno, if it’s got fun gameplay, a good story with at least one annoying character, and the words “Final Fantasy” followed by Roman numerals on the cover chances are I’ll like it just fine. I don’t mind the formula being changed up as long as it works. In fact I prefer it. It’s not like I can’t go back and replay

Based on what I know about Ridley Scott, he probably included the Xenomorph’s development in Prometheus to do a giant middle finger to the people that enjoy the AvP franchise.

I like Kotal Khan.

I like Jacqui, too, but you’re not wrong lol.

I’m not holding my breath but I’d *really* love it if we got some kind of update about RE:4make’s VR mode. I’m on my fourth playthrough of Village and while I’m still enjoying it (especially now that I’ve upgraded several guns to Infinite Ammo) my enjoyment IS starting to flag.

Just give me more FFVII Remake Pt 2 news. I can’t imagine anything exciting me more.
