The systems that accelerate the car and the systems that brake the car are probably only connected at one highly failure-prone part of dubious quality.
(Caveat: Never been in a Tesla, probably never will be)
He was probably one of the few people actually paid to be an Avenger. (Paid by S.H.E.I.L.D of course)
The kid may not have money, but I bet the parents do. They can pay. They raised the kid, gave him the moral values (or lack thereof) he displayed. They gave him the truck, basically arming him.
Don’t be a hater.
There seems to be a confluence of factors at work here. The bollards are fairly short, so harder to see from the right hand driving position; the right hand driving position makes judging distance on the left harder; there is no curb before the bollards to force an errant wheel back into line; the lane is narrow (as…
Abbie Eaton. “Forced to sit out the second race” seems a bit soft - it might be more accurate to say “Hospitalized with a broken back.”
Some of the best times I’ve ever had gaming was playing the original AVP over LAN with a few friends. I’d play the Xenomorph, and slow-w-w-ly hunt them through the levels, using all the tricks to wind them up to a tense, nervous pitch .... and then, w-WHAM! A leaping attack and head-bite.
This was in America. You guys often have really large pants.
Lifetime driving ban. Make him take the bus.
For all of those bashing the man for revealing his identity, that identity has been public knowledge for months, including the fact that he is a black man. Get a grip.

“In order to enable a rocket to lift off from a launch pad, the action or thrust of the rocket must be greater than the mass of the rocket it is lifting.”
...this is how ___ people should behave.
This is something that’s easy to check for yourself. Watch any interview of Trump from the 80s or 90s, and a current one. IMO, his vocabulary has diminished severely, and he seems unable to stay on a topic for more than a few seconds.
At this point in time, does anyone (outside the Trump cult) believe anything a Republican politician says? When was the last time a major GOP figure made an actual, factually correct statement? (I’m honestly curious).
It’s probably pretty accurate. Jean de Carrouges was 40-45 when he married his wife, Marguerite de Carrouges, who was described as “young, beautiful, good, sensible and modest”. I don’t know her exact age, but a “young” bride in the 14th century would be 13-18, at most 20.
Yep, I too hate f*cking forward controls. I’d rather be comfortable, not getting ready for a gynecological exam. Never saw the appeal.
Jalopnik will gush all over some goober who spends $90,000 cramming a LS3 into a Chinese golf cart, but have someone spend millions to build his own rocket plane and ride it fifty miles into the sky like the X-15 or Steve Austin, and it’s a “dumb amusement park ride”.
After the dishes are done, and the camera stops filming, the dishes are thrown in the trash. Bezos never eats off the same plate twice, like a commoner.
