Well, in a way, yes...since the wealthy aren’t paying their fair share of taxes, the state doesn’t have enough money to cover health care costs, and that will now be covered by the poor people who relied on the tax-free weekends to get their kid’s school supplies.

We see paracord bracelets on sale pretty frequently, but $2 is basically unprecedented, and this one even includes a compass, fire starter, and eye knife.

Yes entering routing numbers and verifying a 4 cent deposit and a 5 cent withdrawl is such a bitch.

this report is seriously arguing that eliminating a regressive tax for a weekend unfairly benefits the wealthy? that’s some interesting mental gymnastics.

When I was living abroad, I had my wallet stolen. I thought it would be cheaper and easier to have my dad send me money on paypal so I could transfer it into my local bank account. Paypal “flagged” the transfer, would not let us touch the cash ($500). We called them repeatedly, followed all of their instructions,

I’m forever playing songs unintentionally in Play Music b/c I can't seem to click those 3 dots

No need. I have one, and the ease at which this is removable is extraordinarily profound. If that’s not worded strongly enough, I can add more adjectives.

It’s not an app to share money between friends, not really. It’s a tool to swindle people who get scammed by placing all responsibility on the victim - remember, this is paypal we’re talking about, one of the swiniest corps on the planet, and that’s saying something.

This seems more like non-venmo fraudsters using account information to steal money. Same way they get our credit card numbers/account information, but instead of buying random shit , now they are setting up venmo accounts and stealing the money. I work on a lot of cases dealing with data breaches, tax fraud and ID

Ebay/Paypal/Venmo are the scum of the internet. If you haven’t been screwed by them yet, you have not used the long or often enough.

Programmers aren’t the ones coming up with all these “unified” designs.

My wife and I had $2900 taken out of our TD account last November through Venmo. Neither of us had ever heard of it. I was extremely pissed, because the charge when through even though it showed as "pending" on my account. We made a report and TD credited my account. This is very interesting though - thanks. I think the bank is a problem. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t check my bank account daily and if they try to pull this crap and tell me I need to check daily I would get another bank. they need to at least offer some alerts when money is withdrawn from the account, either email or text if they want a 24

I did a double-take when I realized that was still in the ‘quoted’ section of the post.

I have one of these tiny car chargers and it is great. It charges my Note 5 almost as quickly as my Qualcomm certified Quickcharge 2.0 car charger. Having two USB ports in one tiny charger is incredibly convenient if you often travel with a passenger or have more than one device.
