Geomorphology holds a soft-spot for me because landforms are something everyone can see and wonder about, yet change drastically depending on where you live. Even knowing the tiniest bit of local geologicgeologic history can be enough to unravel so many mysteries!
I'm still delighted we finally caught them in the act of sliding. Finally, we know they're windblown on mud, not drifting on ice! Still so freaking cool to think that something as stereotypically heavy and solid as a rock can drift in the wind with appropriate lubrication.

We bought a couple of these in the past - they work fine but the USB plugs were a little underpowered to charge iPads. (Good for phones, though.) The ones in this sale may be newer models with a little more oomph.
