Sometimes I become convinced that their early stuff is good because the sounds I remember (Edge's guitar, basslines) seem nice, and so I attempt to listen to it and just find it boring and thin. This happens every now and again. I don't know why.

iTunes requires its own runtime environment so that the code for both MacOS and Windows are the same and updates are universal. Adding new RTEs to Windows is generally best avoided, and the one iTunes uses is utterly awful and insanely inefficient.

Uninstalled FB on my phone and used the web for it instead. Vast improvement. All the app does is nag for updates and lag up your phone.
