Weirdly, I was just ranting about this to someone the other night, how male behaviour and sexuality is nowadays creepy by default. Unless we're fuckable, of course. I think its use indicates a similar level of maturity as the use of the word "icky".

It was one of my most precious Betamax tapes as a little kid. I only saw it again some 18 years later and it had that exact charming but alien quality of visiting a place you remember as idyllic during childhood.
