Well said. I loved Adore. Ava Adore, Shame, Blank Page, and Crestfallen are all great songs, and it's a solid album.

He is…but he hasn't made a comedy in many years. I didn't realize we could only compare them to dead folk…

I was thinking Gilda Radner and Gene Wilder! RIP…

Oh man, Boogie Nights is the movie that turned me around on Sister Christian. I grew up HATING that song, as the video was played all the time and it annoyed me and the song was so repetitive. But boy does Anderson know how to use a song—that scene won me over completely.

For me, "Please Mr. Postman" will always be tied in my head to Mean Streets, The Knack's "My Sharona" will always be tied to Reality Bites, and of course, I can't think of "I Got You Babe" without immediately thinking of Groundhog Day.

"said Keyvan Sarkhosh, a postdoctoral fellow who participated in the study."

Nah, be kind, if anything it's Peter Gallagher meets Malin Åckerman.

Screwicide Squad? Suicide Squat? Suicide Squa-DDD?

Oh Jeez, I didn't even know that existed. Well, okay—almost anything.

Ernie Hudson really makes anything better—really, he makes shitty movies better. Leviathan. Collision Course. Congo. Airheads (okay, debatable, but basically bad), Speechless (same thing), The Watcher…he's a teflon guy who elevates junk. I truly love him and his yams on Grace and Frankie, and I will watch anything he

I am so excited for Westworld. I know the movie wasn't as great as it could have been, but I've always loved it in terms of concept and I still really enjoy it.

I mean, there are lots but here are some ideas: I highly recommend Haruki Murakami, Junot Diaz, and Zadie Smith. Also, check out Porochista Khakpour's Sons and Other Flammable Objects.

I mean, 11 of the works on the list are novels, so more than half. Also, why the hate for memoirs and non-fiction?

I've heard great things about Before We Visit The Goddess so I'm excited to read it. Also, I heard Jessi Klein talking about her book on a podcast and I think she's consistently hilarious (if neurotic) so I think I'll give her book a shot.

Adam Haslett and Joyce Carol Oates are writing "memoirs/non-fic turds?"

Thank you—it's pretty clear that Russell and Gamby are the protagonists and Principal Brown is the antagonist. The roles people play in this show are glaringly obvious.

This was my game. I thought the ending was confusing, too, but if you think about Greek Mythology the gods are constantly messing with people so it makes sense in a weird way. This game had the most deliberate, ear-wormy music ever. Dum dum dum da da da DUM DUM. DUM DUM.

Would the term "Mary Sue" even be applied to Rey if she wasn't a female character?

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who grew up feeling uncomfortable with Pepe LePew cartoons. Seriously, every time he started kissing that squirming cat I just felt terrible inside. I agree—no one should write a Pepe LePew movie.

Well, not THE tooth fairy, a witch called the tooth fairy…right? Maybe I'm not remembering the film accurately…
