It's funny you mention Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters because it's my favorite Elton John song, and it was also featured on a particularly difficult episode of a hit-or-miss series cut down before it could bloom: Starved. That show might not have been for everyone, but damn if it didn't use music exceptionally well.

Yay! Christine Baranski can do no wrong. And Cush Jumbo! I guess Diane and Luca will finally start to get along?

Oh yeah, I forgot about him. And I seem to remember Stephen King and David Duchovny fairing pretty well, too. You know what I miss? Celebrity Weakest Link. Watching moderately famous people undercut each other in a trivia challenge gives me a kind of perverse pleasure.

Murdock. His name is Roger Murdock, and he's a copilot.

I'll take the rapist for 200!

I would have thought Anderson Cooper would have done better what with his old money sophistication and Ivy League education, but then Celebrity Jeopardy has never really blown us out of the water with brilliance (with a few exceptions like Michael McKean or Andy Richter).

IIRC, Caddyshack ends with Kenny Loggins. The Journey scene is in the middle of the movie. You might be thinking of the Simpsons episode that referenced Caddyshack, as that ended with "Any Way You Want It."

I loved the TMZ sketch and the tampon saxophone sketch, but that was all. I loved the way the cubicle wall got just slightly higher every time it cut to Patton Oswalt. And I appreciate that it went full crazy and didn't hold back.

As excited as I am for the BFG, I still want to see lavish budget, a big screen rendition of George's Marvelous Medicine.

Sadly, I have not. Loved the first season, though.

Yep! And neither of us is blind, either!

My husband and I watched The Lobster a few months ago and absolutely loved it. It suffers from second act problems, IMO, but it's one of the more clever and painful meditations on relationships and social pressure that I've ever seen. Also, it's good to see Colin Farrell actually acting!

Oh god, I stayed in the Sound of Music hostel when I went through Salzburg, and the movie played 24/7 in the commons area. At least it was cheap…

I'll admit I love Poor Unfortunate Souls, but I cannot abide Kiss The Girl or Under The Sea or really any other song in there. I know that's all a matter of personal taste though.

Totally agree. It's just a gross film all around. The final message is basically "Tart yourself up THEN the boy you like will like you back!" Oh, but don't put out like Rizzo or you'll end up with a pregnancy scare. It's a very bizarre film.

Did you say that in response to every Disney Princess movie with a romantic storyline?

Well this is disappointing, as I had really looked forward to seeing this film. I'll still see it, but I'll wait until it's out of the theaters.

I thought she did well with Home for The Holidays and with one of the episodes of Orange is The New Black that she directed. Little Man Tate is decent, too, although I chalk that up more to acting than directing. I think her true strength is as an actress, but I can't fault her for wanting to try her hand at

While I appreciate the idea of addressing negative body image in young people, I don't think it makes sense to equate "more realistic" with "fatter." That's a pretty thick Sailor Moon, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it just seems really misguided. They're cartoons. I actually think the solution would be to
