I always find it interesting that people think Lost is a show that dragged things out and went off the rails, because as someone who binge-watched the entire series instead of watching it live, the filler doesn’t really register as filler when you can just hop to the end to episode. The mysteries don’t feel dragged

I’m conflicted, you see, because this article is wonderful, but 21 Pilots are terrible.

Boy oh boy. I don’t know. I grew up with this movie and certainly loved it at the time. But Ben Affleck gives a genuinely great performance as Batman and Bruce Wayne, and BvS has a cool Batmobile scene, and probably the best Batman fight scene of all time. Its tone is melodramatic, but it commits to it. Batman Forever

It’s hard to emphasize just how impossibly bad Jones is as Two-Face.

If you’ve been invested in these characters for the past 10 years, the film is pretty breathtaking. I can’t think of a way it could have done a better job in balancing its insanely huge roster, all the while keeping the pace and tone pitch-perfect for the entire length. BUT. If you don’t really care about the team?

It’s just a bummer how far the Simpsons has fallen. A dip in quality in a long-running sitcom is to be expected (and though it has definitely declined, I do think the Simpsons has always stayed funny), but a complete change in soul is another thing entirely. They’ve become the clueless old men they used to make fun

Yeah, I think you nailed it. Had this predated Marvel it would have been celebrated. But the bar has been raised so high that it didn’t stand out. But I have to admit, I really loved it for what it was.

Other than dodgy CGI, there really wasn’t a scene I didn’t like. There just weren’t a lot of *great* scenes. But when the movie was firing on all cylinders it was really fun. The hate is hyperbolic. Its biggest sin is being merely good.

I thought Innocence was really fantastic. And so far I like this one quite a bit.

I think there are people who find U2’s earnestness endearing, and people who find it grating. I find it endearing. U2 is at their best when they embrace what they are, IMO. When they try to force themselves into a certain style or image, they stumble. So I’m digging this album quite a bit: they seem completely

I was under the impression that this was just a new thing RT was doing, because they’ve done it to a couple other movies recently. The twitter reactions from critics was largely positive so I don’t think WB is terrified of the reviews.

All this fuss over run time is goofy. The Lord of the Rings movies are like 3 hours a piece, but they’re incredibly watchable. But a bad 90 minute movie can feel like an eternity. It’s about pacing. Let’s hope for a well paced movie, regardless of its length.

I know the first game was well received, but I thought it was a lifeless, monotonous slog for the most part. Its combat was literally just the exact same combat from the Arkham games, which made its only achievement the nemesis thing...which was neat, but not astounding. I dig LotR stuff so it bums me out that the big

The black hole stuff was absolutely my favorite part of the film. And the idea that love is this immeasurable thing that can transcend space and time is the exact sort of hokey feel-goodery that I can get behind.

It could very well be number one. That movie’s a masterpiece.

Wow. Interstellar completely snubbed? I think that one’s going to go down as one of the greats.

But Shonk Lemons already taught a flawless master class

Watchmen isn’t science fiction

The man’s been the guiding hand of two of the greatest shows ever made, so I’m in. I’m actually a big fan of Snyder’s Watchmen. It’s one of my favorite books, so I refused to watch the film for years and when I finally did, I was surprised at how good it was. That being said, if an adaptation must be done, prestige

I say this as a long time fan of CK, but I unfortunately feel like the reason people are quick to defend him on this matter is because we simply don’t want it to be true. Cosby was long past his prime when the stuff about him came out. It was disgusting, shocking, but how could you doubt the preponderance of
