To be fair, even if they do show up, they still won’t see the female lead in this movie.

While I don’t necessarily doubt the Julia Robert's as Harriet Tubman story as is, a version along the lines you laid out would have been right on the money. I am reminded of casting tales of a film from the mid-90's, Panther, directed by Mario Van Peebles. Many an interview with Van Peebles from that time relate

That young actress grew up to be.....you guessed it, Frank Stallone.

I'd say Scorsese drew up this list, but the distinct lack of "Gimme Shelter" says otherwise.

Certainly no worse than him fighting noted supervillain Richard Pryor.

Very surprised at the lack of The Revenant not only on the official list, but also amongst the comments. What's wrong with you people?

Yeah, thanks, Obama. Ok, Boomer.

So long as the amendment provides that private citizens do not have to be forced to quarter standups, I will defend that amendment until the last drop of Carrot Top’s blood.

And much like Mike Trout, I couldn’t pick Carrie Coon out of a lineup if my life depended on it.

“Actor of the Decade”?

Yeah, me neither. What’s this guy talking about?

Mercifully, the Television Academy—admitting its role in the problem, given that it’s handing out (exactly) a quarter of these things—hasstepped forward to do something about it. Per Billboard, the TV Academy has announced that it’s getting rid of one of the categories for the Daytime Emmy awards,

Because after watching The Irishman, Remo Gaggi, the Outfit’s top boss, told Scorsese maybe he should just step down. And when the old man says “maybe” that’s like a papal bull, not only should Scorsese quit, he should run.

What’s this leg washing thing?

No, one of the worst shows you’ve never seen was entitled ‘Shasta McNasty’.

Leto was so pissed about the reveal of Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker movie—which essentially invalidated his own largely abortive run as the character—that he attempted to leverage his status in order to have the movie killed.

You know, before I clicked on this article,“The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia” came on. I ain’t heard that song since it was big. But when it was big, I must’ve heard it a million-trillion fuckin’ times. But this is the first time I ever realized that the girl singin’ the song is the one who shot Andy.

Points for not going with the obvious misheard lyric from that song.
