It’s nice that you came up with something nice to say about the guy, I certainly couldn’t myself.

Next time someone whines about the Souls games being too hard, send him some of this guy’s levels. He’ll be praising the sun real fast.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Been playing this game for a few days already and I really love the combat. It’s even better than in Dream Team, although I think I prefered the humor and “plot” in that one. Still, it definitely scratches that itch and if you’re going for all the challenges that the game asks you to complete, it’s quite a tough game.…
Do you like Souls game? They are technically JRPGs. As I get older I find games that don’t require skill, like turn based jrpgs, a serious bore. There are some games on your list, like Mario RPG and Secret of Mana that require some amount of skill, but most don’t. I like the ambiance and worlds of most of these games,…
I need it, when is it coming out?
I’m definitely guilty of this, it needs to stop! I’m going to force myself to finish a game before moving on. Unless I hate a game.
I want to play this game, but the fact that you think Bravely Default was among the best JRPGs of the decade makes me reticent. An empty shell of a game. great gameplay, good looking, but void of personality and with some incredibly cringe inducing moments, like the beauty contest. Then again, I heard Trails in the…
I think Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, or the last two entries of Mario and Luigi RPG are much better than Super Mario RPG. I tried to finish Mario RPG many times, but it just never really worked for me.
Oh, damn, I kind of had hopes for Tierkreis. I love playing games on my 3DS. I just started replaying Suikoden 1 on Vita. I hadn’t played it since it came out (and I loved it then). I think I love it more now, because it reminds me why I barelly play modern JRPGs. It has a soul and a heart, in a way that is completely…
I finished my unfinished ones last year. Which were The Spirit Tracks for DS and Zelda II for Nes. The Nes one was as horrible an experience as I thought it would be, but the DS one was really good, except for the overworld map which was torturous. I still haven’t finished Tri Force Heroes, because the online…
Sooooo true about Red Dead Redemption 2, I google that every week with the ridiculous hope that I somehow missed the announcement. Currently replaying Red Dead Redemption to scratch that Western itch.
Neither, the anime/emo direction the FF series has taken is a huge disappointment to me, and I’ve basically stopped playing after 10. The FFXV trailer looks like a gross J-Pop music video. The Persona series looks vaguely interesting, but again based on trailers, the universe doesn’t appeal to me.
Easily in my top 10 favorite game of all time. And that is saying a lot.
I always thought of Red Dead Redemption as Wild West virtual reality.
I would love to play this, but the fact that I would have to shell out $39 for a digital ps3 game is ridiculous. I can’t believe there isn’t a physical release. Also if it’s a digital release, why can’t they just put it out for the PS4? I might get the 3rd game for the ps3, if I can find it cheap second hand though.
I had the Wii U as my main console this generation for a while, along with the 3DS which might have gotten more play than any other console I’ve ever had, in part due to Monster Hunter 4. I was still playing the PS3 as well and I only recently cracked down when the Witcher 3 came out and I bought a PS4. My purchase of…
I think unfortunately for the Wii U, Nintendo has been redirectering all good games to the NX, because they need them desperately around launch. I can’t really blame them, they have almost no 3rd party support and have to keep releasing games nonetheless. But damn, I would rather they stop releasing games for a year,…
IGA was sacked too and basically explained that he was prevented from making the games he loves for a decade. #FuckKonami
Loved Larry as Bernie, but the SNL writing was attrocious, as usual.
