Brooklyn 99 is on fire. That show surprises me every week. It'd be so easy to get lazy with a cop comedy but man, they bring it.

Best season of Always Sunny in years. Not getting any respect, as usual.
What happened to the Wood? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WOOD?
I'd love Godzilla with Matthew Broderick to be one of their movies.
OK, someone just said during the telethon you could buy it there until the Kickstarter ended, but maybe they meant AFTER it ended.
That is a good point, because I would do something similar. If I was having a shit game, I'd swap to medic and just revive or engineer and just repair. There is no real support in SWBF.
I would do it soon, though. Think that is a mistake they left that up.
The trailer is really bad. He's often been accused of Anti-Americanism before, but it looks like he's finally just embraced it. And then ramped up the wacky to 11.
Yeah he was very good while those guys were… not. Not just bad at riffing, but playing the damn game. I can't imagine watching that stream when the dude keeps failing basic jumps on an 8 bit platformer over and over again. And why he didn't get that he needed to shoot the gray arms for health, I will never know. You…
Just so people can see part of his segment:
I think the comedians got the angle that Joel was going for, which is exactly what you described. The overnight crew of a bad PBS telethon. Dana Snyder doing his weird German thing, Dana Gould as Dr Zaius as WIlliam Shatner, two magicians doing sleight of hand type stuff. It was pretty good as a bad telethon.
I think it's these guys:
There was definitely a jump on Kickstarter, though. I had it open on my other monitor. It was weird because starting about 1 hour until it ended, the totals started to drop. Not sure if people were pulling out or what. But my guess is that a LOT of people at the final few minutes upped their pledge and the Kickstart…
The corollary to that is that when it succeeds, they will claim they were behind it all along. First day, in line, number one fan. Look up any forum conversation about Firefly when it was announced if you don't believe me.
They were updating the add-on stuff in chunks, so it's possible. But I had the Kickstarter page open on the other window when it hit, and the Kickstart did jump $100k. Which is weird, because the most they had, reward wise, was 25k. Not a conspiracy, but I have a feeling someone bought 4 executive producer credits.…
I chalk that up to the YouTube generation. I mean, those Game Grump guys had two very long segments and people in that chat were STILL spamming they should cut away from Dana Gould or Kate Micucci to show them, I dunno, Grumping around?
There was so much genuine love between all the new people involved it actually made me donate more. You could just tell they were probably taking pay cuts that their normal rate just to do something they love. Especially Robert Lopez.
It's what nerds do, unfortunately.
I didn't mind the magic. What I HATED was the people in the chat shitting on anyone who wasn't their YouTube personality of choice. Seriously, the chat was non-stop WHERE ARE GRUMPS! WE WANT STEEE!
