Ord Mantell is not even a particularly weird planet. Lotta islands… like, the whole planet is one big archipelago… so a lotta oceans… but otherwise it's like any other human-settled world in the galaxy.

It is all of the above. They literally do meet the embodiments of the Force, it is an examination of the self-destructiveness of dualism, and a surreal examination of family, and also of perspective of young v. old, new v. historic, etc.

The wrote themselves into a corner when they started a sequel to the first damned game. Should have never named it Final Fantasy in the first goddamned place. Maybe Not Yet the…. or something tacked on at the beginning there, I dunno.

What? Man, "Bad Dudes" is a perfect video game title. In this game, there are two dudes, and they are bad. Bad Dudes. How the fuck can you miss that? Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the President?

That may say more about you than it does the game. For me, I could easily get inside the head of almost all of the characters in 400 Days, and so I could identify with them and the situations they found themselves in.

The video game does not follow the television show or the comics, so you should be ok.
