he could be a huge asshole, just not a criminal asshole.

Christ, Justin, all you had to do was not be an asshole.
Backtracking is a feature bc it’s a Metroidvania. But there’s certainly a time-respectful way of doing this, and Fallen Order definitely had a few places that were huge pains in the ass to get to/from and were just begging for fast travel.
I guess the game’s devs are probably fans of their own work...
The game would have taken place in a shared universe between Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, two acclaimed Respawn Entertainment shooters with lots of similarities that have seen plenty of fan speculation about overlapping lore in the past.
They still do it, though.
And if you did watch the video you would find the premise to be very thin and that most of the single word pulls made the kind of meaning you think they would in context.
After watching the guys TikTok about it, to be honest I think only one of those single word pulls seemed out of place. The rest did seem to capture the sentiment being expressed in the paragraph the word was pulled from. So this feels like much ado about nothing.
Honestly I’m fairly certain this practice is done in Australia and many other countries. The big corporations all follow similar play books and they all hire the same consulting firms to advise on HR practice like this shit. This isn’t an “American” problem and just good old fashion late stage capitalism
Like pregnant Joker.
Jesus, even my local paper ran a story on that online.
Isn’t this by the numbers marketing? Hardly newsworthy.
There seems to be a real “get them!” vibe around this game- not entirely sure why- it looks great (could be shite) but looks good, poc protagonist, high fantasy, good looking game. Not quite sure where all the hate is generated from over the past year of previews. Seems a little pathetic to me? Give it a chance.
True. But it is nice to see someone shine the light on how PR is used to manipulate and mislead consumers.
would they be saying “twitter is an american spyware app,” specifying the country like that? if it were british, would they be saying “british spy app”? i would say probably not.
okay, so if tucker carlson, who is extremely popular, does not count, here is msnbc: https://www.msnbc.com/mtp-daily/watch/inside-a-real-life-war-game-china-and-u-s-square-off-over-taiwan-139871301745
Keep in mind that an i3 vs i5 vs i7 can only really be compared within a particular Intel generation. I used that same processor until recently. It’s ten years old. It’s really not good enough for modern games. I kept having to do all kinds of tweaks to get games like Horizon Zero Dawn and FF7 remake working somewhat…
people here have literally linked to sources that quote people like ted cruz who are specifically using the tik tok thing as an intentional anti-china racist thing. it’s nothing that’s being imagined at all. i recommend reading some of my other posts so you can see my points. im in middle of work so cant go beyond…
If the US had privacy standards it wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately that would mean make it more difficult for companies and our government to keep doing what you’re accusing China and Tik Tok of doing, so it’s definitely not going to happen.
Liberals always eagerly gobble up right-wing jingoism and redbaiting.
“Holy shit lol I’m progressive and liberal”
