Garrett Morris looked genuinely happy to be there, and why not. It's the first time he can prove to a national audience that he has more going for him right now than Chevy Chase.

Teddy Ruxpin already did courtroom drama. Granted, it was through Tweeg instead of Ruxpin, but that's splitting hairs:

Will Lori Petty play a shock jock transformed into a being of pure energy?

I'd enjoy an adaptation of Annie that better resembled the comic strip. Granted, I don't know how you'd work George Gray's libertarian politics and the Junior Commandos into live TV drama. Even the Jay Maeder years would benefit from an adaptation.

I'm not. I'm just surprised no one thought about ripping VB plot points off before now. If there's a superior animated series, I'm sure Seth MacFarlane will steal from it at some point.

Well, of course. In keeping with this show stealing from the Venture Bros. playbook, I'm sure Stewie has a storage room full of Brian clones.

I hope Michaels shouted "COME BACK HERE WITH MY SHOW!", as Costello ran off with most of the title card draped around his mouth, and the SNL band played a trumpet-and-surf-guitar number.

Cannon Films > G4

This isn't some Vince Russo-esque swerve where G4 becomes WWE Network, is it?

I was referring to prime-time high school comedies in general, as SHH and Todd are live-action.  Adult animated comedies that use high school as a setting pop up from time to time - the aforementioned Daria, Clone High and SDSU, plus Bromwell High, and (I can't believe I forgot this one, it's so obvious) Beavis and

Axe Cop and High School USA both used Daria-style end-credits montages this week, yet the reviewer only mentioned the non-high-school-set show by name.  If I remember correctly, Frankenhole used end-credits montages from time to time.

Ages are listed after the names on the "created by" credit.  That's two or three seconds of something…a fleeting, black-and-white something.

Darkseid and feminine hygiene products can figure into the same plot.  Toxic shock syndrome is merely a gateway to the Anti-Life Equation.

I'm Crazy Message Film Mugger!  I beat you over the head with my social awareness, and then I just beat you over the head!  Isn't that…CRAZY?!
