I think we can break this into 4 separate cases:

I think we’re still missing:

Sorry, hard to detect snark (or the absence of it) in a text post. Your use of the words “best” and “click” was what triggered my snark detector.

As opposed to ... writing articles no one wants to click on?

Backpacker? I haven’t looked into the release closely. In the beta, it’s just the number of times you visit a Pokestop. I had over 100 and I only visited about 20 unique Pokestops.

I just saw the Pokémon on drone article :) Anyway I’m fairly sure those I spotted are not the hardcore players.

Since Pokemon Go uses Ingress portals for Pokestops and Gyms, you can use Ingress to visit these points of interests as well. Ingress keeps track of how many unique ones you’ve visited, though it doesn’t tell you which ones are those.

Probably regional differences, and also might be the guys were more obvious about it.

I saw about 15 people playing Pokemon Go earlier when I was at the park. Most of them are stationary in one spot and not walking around much. They also all seem to be male teenagers.

What you tell me 3 times is true?

Fake. Should have been “Martian - detected” on the left and English on the right. I’d tell you the translation, but you’re obviously not one of the intended recipients. Just take my advice and stock up on toilet paper.

With a VR setup and a barf bag. But yeah, it would be really sweet.

I could use a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster if you don’t mind...

Bright side of that is that no one can just drive over and prove them wrong. “Hey, Bill, remember that black hole in Cygnus article you published last week? Guess what? I stopped by on my way to pick up the milk, and there’s no black hole there.”

That looks vaguely familiar...

Please answer the men knocking on your front door. They’re here to help you.

“Roman incident” - just thought I’d link to this and hopefully correct a popular misconception for some people.

It’s what he did about it that separates the reasonable from the batshit crazy.

and that he kept journals documenting when he felt he was being watched.
