He escaped to pursue a career in anime where there’s a demand for tentacles.

Can’t help thinking it’ll look good with a magnetic levitating platform. But at this price, sorry. Not interested. I’ll wait for the Chinese copies.

A ring light should give more accurate lighting, actually, since the sun is not a point source a short distance from the moon. A Fresnel lens might be more accurate though. Need to experiment...

I want the one that kills cows at a hundred paces.

I don’t get it either, and I’ve pointed it out a number of times here. It’s mainly much maligned on Gizmodo. Some use of it is stupid, no doubt about that, but the code itself works perfectly. Royalty free, easy to scan (when implemented properly), built-in error correction.

It is still useful. You can use Google to verify facts (well, reasonably so) but you can’t use it to look up what you don’t even know is related in the first place.

Not a problem with these. Good for at least a thousand years, I hear.

Wasn’t there one for sale a few years ago? Searching... aha.

I was driving around Los Altos yesterday (short distance from Mountain View, Google HQ) when I spotted the little guy. We were stopped at a light, and it’s in a different lane. The driver of the car in front of it glanced at his rear view mirror, had a “WTF” look on his face, turned his head around, then actually backe
