Hmm, let me guess, a 1969 Dodge Charger? :)

The more expensive UV filters with multicoat and better glass will minimize the problem, and definitely don’t use one when shooting into a light source. Some of these filters are so expensive you have to start thinking about using another filter to protect it :D
Good point, UV filter does make a difference with film. Stupid of me to assume you’re shooting digital, sorry.
I’m skeptical about the “less bluish” claim. But let me present my case for why I don’t use a UV filter. Not telling you that you shouldn’t use a filter. Just presenting my side of the argument. It’s your equipment and your photos, you should do whatever you feel is right for you.
Yeah, that was bizzarre on top of bizzarre.

I was hoping more for this :
Good finds!
Yeah, it does sound like the kind of crazy things they’ve done, like the tauntaun sleeping bag.
Doubt they read Gizmodo for product ideas, but I’d buy that in a heartbeat!
No no no.. wrong version! :)
Pets are the result of continuous inbreeding. Make fun of this cat all you want, she’s still more famous than you and (probably) accomplished more to help animals :
Damn it, I thought someone made an actual artificial log shaped like Vader that I can burn.
And graffiti as well.
Those cities don’t have to contend with no gravity though :) With microgravity and a heavy workload, I just assumed that sea level atmospheric pressure would be one less stress for the astronauts, but I didn’t know for sure until you made me look it up. Don’t know about structural strength either, but 8000 ft is about…
