Corsair Strafe RGB with Cherry MX Silent switches

I gave him one just for you :)

Yeah, in the few years since then, I saw that someone made an actual device and posted pics online. This is why we can’t have nice things.

I agree. But argue not with narrow minded bureaucrats. Best to just look contrite, apologize, and let them win. Unless you are in a position of power. But they will hate you and try to pull you down next time if you humiliate them.

I can see him charging you with vandalism or some anti-graffiti thing, but “possession of bomb making material” is just so stupid.

Assuming a conservative 4 miles per kWh, that’s 62.5 kWh in 15 minutes, or an average charging power of 250 kW. Doesn’t look like something that’s going to happen at home. Not until we all get our own Mr Fusion anyway.

I think I played that flash game.

Thanks for the info! I’ll check when I get home.

You can use either a mercury switch, or a magnetic reed switch, to detect the garage door position as well. But I like having the garage door opener report it to you directly. I wonder if my opener has those outputs...

I created something like this a long time ago, using X-10 modules, a Linux server, and a CM-11a (serial interface). I could ssh into my home machine and instruct it to close the garage door if I forgot to do it when leaving the house (there was a command line utility called heyu that sends X-10 commands through the

The Photon is also WiFi based (and is cheaper). You can create a REST interface to read from or write to the I/O pins, so it is fairly easy to have it energize a relay and open / close the garage door. What worries me is the security, since it all goes through Particle’s servers. I don’t know if it works with Blynk

When I went into a T-Mo store in San Francisco to get a micro SIM, they just used a punch to cut down my SIM to size, gratis.

When you point your finger at a bruh, there are 4 fingers pointing back at the bruh that is you.

Once I encountered 3 motorcycle cops working together. One is in front writing a ticket for a car. Hidden from view by that car, another cop stood by the side of the road stopping cars that are speeding past (this is a local road, 25 mph), so that they will be ticketed by a 3rd cop. There was a line of 5 cars stopped

No, they might screw it up to the point where they will cancel your service. It has happened to me before, called to change something in the service, and they end up cutting off service because someone entered the wrong work order.

But there’s no 747s there to be blown around. So take THAT, Neptune. Ha!

Curious - why are a lot of them changing hands if it is a solid headphone amp? Switching to a more portable amp? Or upgrading? If upgrading, to what?
