Isn't that the subtle genius of the backhanded non-apology? Allow me to translate, I speak backhanded double-speak fluently:

Oh man, why's the video so short? I wanted to hear what these unassailable paragons of journalistic integrity had to say about Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka another seven or eight minutes down their list.

Maybe he got fired because he's the most annoying fucking person on earth.

My god Kluwe's fucking annoying.

Unfortunately, thought crime does not exist. I am not condoning what Preifer said (IF he did), but mandating therapy through legal recourse to someone just because they view gay marriage is wrong is something a fascist would condone. Well, let the bashing begin.....

Dan, you magnificent Le bastard!

Not only is "Happy Birthday" public domain in DPRK, it was stolen from a melody Kim Il-Sung composed as a small boy.

That's what they get for leasing a space on the floor below Gawker.

You are half right: it sounds stupid.

I don't understand...even by his own (stupid) rationale he should vote for Maddux. He votes for Morris b/c of Cy Young Awards VOTES in 7seasons, and MVP VOTES in 5, but Maddux's 9 seasons of Cy Young votes, and six with MVP votes aren't enough?

Well, Gurnick took a stand. Sure, he took a stand against someone who had nothing to do with the issue that he was standing against, someone who actually actively and literally fought against it with excellence his entire career, but.....

I get this guy's point, though. Maddux always looked like a jacked, roided out freak to me too.

I see Turtle has tagged along as well.

This will be pretty easy to prove either way. Kluwe says there were witnesses, and if he's telling the truth then they'll come forward eventually. Hell, if he's telling the truth there have probably been other incidents; nobody is just a crazy asshole once in their life and never again.

How fucked up is it that people actually listen to Chris Kluwe.

Kluwe sure loved to argue moral issues when it gave him attention and free publicity. But when confronted with an actual issue that potentially affected his closeted teammates, for which there was a good chance there was one, he stayed silent to protect his self-interest.

How fucked up would it be if Kluwe actually did make the whole thing up?

Neither do non-bigots.

Look, if he wanted to make it clear that he was denying the allegations, he would have led off with it.
