There should be an answer to this already, as I hoped it was asked before hitting publish. 

This doesn’t sound like the words of a daughter who hates her father.  Only one that yearns for her dad to see the light so they can come together in agreement on moral issues.  She seems disappointed in being unable to convince her dad of her point of view, not mad.
