It’s just one of the many contrivences this year to make Oliver’s life miserable, since he isn’t self-destructively making his own life miserable anymore.

“incomprehensible fight scene”
Everything was VERY DARK, and it’s hard to ever tell the ninjas apart, when it comes to the League. We did get one last unnecessary flip-kick from Roy, so we know they know what we love.
- Maybe it’s just because the last few episodes were borderline unwatchable, but this episode was so refreshing to watch.
When it comes to Arrow/Flash, middling is good, and no annoying NTA makes it even better... hell the only thing that could save Curtis/Rene for me at this point is a romance between the two, cause that would be cute as hell.
Now its completely justified to criticise original team arrow as they can be shitty people but I totally agree that the hypocrisy of NTA’s actions makes any criticism moot.
Am I the only one that wasn’t invested at all in Dinah and Vince? Their relationship was just a nothing to me so her whole quest for vengeance just rang hollow.
I never understood the whole Dinah and Vince thing and I still think they ruined the Vigilante reveal by attaching him to Dinah. Big mistake. I’m not invested in her revenge and to be honest I’m not invested in her as Black Canary either. They continue to mess up where that mantle is concerned, they really should’ve…
See, this is my problem: to me, it feels more like bad writing than hypocrisy. The B Team didn’t leave because of inconsistencies in character of the A Team; they left because one of them sold Oliver out to the police. Then, they got all pissy because the A Team decided to save the damn city from a nuclear bomb…
I agree with you about Dinah and Vince. Dinah’s murderous thirst for vengeance would make more sense as a viewer if we’d gotten to see them together for a while before he died. But she was questioning whether or not she could trust him just the episode before BS killed him, and we only got flashbacks of what they were…
Seems like they wanted a schism to drive NTA away, but not anything too awful that makes Team Arrow look like the bad guys... and it’s just terrible. So here we are, saddled with a scenario that wasn’t that bad (cause we’re still rooting for Oliver) but needed to be treated like an Judas level betrayal to fit the story
“Emily Bett Rickards, Stephen Amell, John Diggle”
I’m super glad you liked it! I agree that that’s all interesting stuff. The problem for me is that NTA are *also* self-righteous hypocrites, and so the whole premise seems flawed.
Opinions differ! That’s totally cool. But he’s good with language on any show. Whether that’s important to you or not is your deal.
I know right, Cayden James went from (looking like) a (hacking) genius to an idiot, in a span of what, 2 episodes(this and the last one)?
“At the time he didn’t know who the Arrow was so it would make sense for him to check it out right?”
- When the season started, I found Ruby to be far more annoying than William. His situation was more understandable and didn’t have as many eye-rolling moments. Now? Ruby has been less annoying lately while William has clutched the Idiot Ball like it was a drowning baby. Why the hell he thought it was a good idea to…
Why stick Kacey Rohl’s Alena in this episode and its flashbacks if not to make her the real villain behind it all? Diaz is a nobody, he’s filler with no setup here, but Alena at least has knowledge and connection to Caden James, and her morals are suspect. What a waste of an episode, I’m glad they did something to…
What a bizarre episode.
The plotting in seasons three and four were too haphazard. Sloppy. The mystery of Sara’s murder. Ollie is dead but no wait he’s a League member oh wait. Ollie and Felicity fighting over his son existing. Literally anything to do with Felicity’s parents.
This season isn’t shockingly terrible like those seasons, but it…
- Is the show trying its damndest to make New Team Arrow unlikable? Because it’s doing a pretty good job. Rene, especially, has gotten really, really annoying the past few episodes. I used to like him, too.
