I really liked the Danny and Luke fight. This was better than the first episode and I'm looking forward to Matt and Jessica's time together in the next one. One weird thing, I'm not feeling Misty Knight as much as was in LC. Not sure why but the character just feels a bit off.

Ha you know what it is though, I get him and Lancel Lannister confused. Both were just kind of there.

'Every time Danny Rand and Colleen are on-screen it's a painful sludge to get through'. This. I feel for Coleen as it seems all the agency they gave her at the back end of Iron Fist has disappeared and it's back to constantly telling Danny it's not his fault.

Right? I'm guessing she's been brought back by the hand voodoo at least once so I'm curious why she even cares that she's dying again.

You're preaching to the choir on Wenham, Parker in Top of the Lake is great. Do you think the same writer would just carry over to Defenders or is there a chance they can change the tone slightly. Also agreed that nobody could have made it work but I guess I still would have liked someone a little more compelling than

I totally get what you're saying about the time for the fight scenes but that wasn't the only part of the show that didn't work, at least for me. I also agree that they should stay as far away from angsty Danny as much as possible but that seems to already be out the window. I'm only on episode one Defenders so I'm

I thought it was Coleen too and the fact that it wasn't made the part when he just pushed her off the guy really confusing. You know she's trying to kill him and the best you can find in your Kung Fu arsenal is 'Shove'. Classic Danny Rand. That fight was truly awful though.

So while I think the C is a bit harsh I did find a lot of this to be a bit dull. I've watched all the others so by now I'm used to slow pacing in these shows, but this is the first time an episode has ended and I thought 'well shit is that it?'. I'm not ready to judge as obviously it's ep 1 and I'm invested so bring

I did enjoy the questing party coming together quite a lot. Just wish Jamie had gone with them. When they did walk through the gate all I was thinking is at least 3 of you aren't coming back, though apart from Jorah I have no idea who else will die out there. Do we know yet what the scroll Arya found said? I caught

I mean I get what you're saying and that was true at the beginning of this, but now surely the death toll is rising with every failure. I get not wanting to kill civilians but at some point you need to win the iron throne no? If I'm a Dothraki I'm sitting there looking right at those dragons when she's like 'okay so

Ah thanks for this I've been so lost on so much about the Mad King. Makes much more sense now.

Welp turns out I don't like Dany as much as I thought. In that moment I found myself thinking 'Bronn better shoot that flying gecko in the mouth with that incredibly disappointing giant crossbow thing'. Couple of things I noticed;
1) Cutting a horses leg off while brutal is hilariously brilliant tactic.
2) Lots of

Ha, but they can't get other people in to sing like Disney do. You will not rob me of Jon Snow telling Dany he's 'like a shooting star' in that accent.

So the dothraki are still are thing then! Good I guess. Dany wanted to fly on her dragons and burn up Euron's ( who is somehow still too much right??) fleet. Was I the only one thinking that she should just fuel up one of them lizards and fly over to the wall to take a peek at the Walking Dead (see what I did) for

I'm trying real hard to get on board with Euron, but the struggle is real. Maybe it's the fact that while everyone else seems dressed for Westeros, I feel like I've seen 6 guys dressed like him in Manchester. Also while the sand snakes are the drizzling shits, wasn't a big part of their thing that the weapons they use

Minnick forgetting to tell the police that Stephanie was missing with a rapist was so over the top ridiculous I may have actually giggled. From the time we spent with her I saw she wasn't the best doctor, couldn't deal with death and now it turns out is terrible in an emergency. All things I need in a doctor. Anyway

I'm torn on this one. By the standards of this season that was a very good episode but there were some little thinks that bugged me that took me out of it a bit. The whole dead sister things been coming for so long it all fell flat. Jackson and Maggie is already the worst and they've done nothing. Minnick continues to

Gonna go ahead and add 'lesvetran' to my vocabulary.

Teenage girl. The only setting that Maggies behaviour is appropriate is if she were a teenage girl. There was the smallest hope from me that she would just say 'meh liked him for a minute but cool for you two', but no still Maggie. Technical question for anyone who knows, a DNR is a do not resuscitate but does that

Loved TGW (till whatever that last couple of seasons anyway). I liked a lot about this show Diane getting back to being a boss, Lucca being more than just the thing Alicia pours wine into, the new firm and all the new characters that fit in so well, Marissa. BUT I also had a problem with all those things. Diane was
