It's funny how all the idiots on twitter yelling slurs at him for this are proving his point.

Ironically, the movie will feature exactly zero smiles.

I can back that up, read this in seventh grade and loved it, so did my younger brother.

It amazing that the most successful movie of all time has basically been forgotten by pop culture.

Whats the name of this book?

Glad he's getting work, he was the best part of Captain Phillips.

This actually sounds pretty interesting.

Technically eight years ago, but yeah, he was a thing. I remember seeing his book in barnes and noble and trailers for his movie everywhere. It's amazing that someone can be that popular and then just be forgotten.

What helps me cope is knowing that in five years, no one is going to remember them.

I laughed my head off… until I actually read it.

They look like they host a "wacky" radio call in show from the 90's.

I'll give them my account when they take it from my cold dead hands!!!

Well thats depressing.

*Young Captain Kirk nods his head to the beat*

I was expecting the song to be a cover of Peter Gabriel's sledgehammer.

My problem with the beastie boys in star trek isn't that there was a beastie boy song in a star trek movie. My problem with it was the implication that people are still listening to the beastie boy's 300 years in the future.

Weird, I feel the exact opposite. As a fan of the comic, I was a little wary about the show at first, but so far I've been really enjoying it. You may not agree, but I think they really nailed the tone of "preacher". It amazing to me how many scenes and characters made for the show so far have seemed like they came

I dont understand how anyone could fall for this.

Im amazed I haven't heard of the show until now, it sounds insanely ahead of it's time.

I didn't even realize it was a adaptation until now, I just assumed it was completely original.
