Well, *not* making the first movie (and instead expanding the third movie into two) and casting anyone else as Orphan Annie would have made the whole trilogy better.

I usually hate Will Ferrell hamming it up. But, in Megamind, it works perfectly. I love that movie. So sad that it essentially got bulldozed out of people’s conciousness by Despicable Me.

That film was underrated. Not hugely, it wasn’t a terrific film, but it was a solid film that deserved more attention. I’d certainly have preferred a sequel to that over Despicable Me 2.
