I’ve always thought that “genius” was too strong a word for Hitchcock. His films are always at least a half-hour too long, and he always cast different actresses with the same face. I find his work to be dull and tedious.

They’re stupid.

It’s a much different world than it used to be when we were young, thank goodness. But it’s going to take those of us who grew up hearing about Matt Shepherd a while to feel comfortable showing that part of ourselves- even to loved ones.

I should have chosen my words more carefully. “Lifestyle” is such a loaded term when it comes to LGBT issues. I apologize.

I think it’s different if they are actively advancing an anti-LGBT agenda. Then that is hypocrisy, and that deserves to be outed.

Your sexuality, and how you manage it, is nobody’s business but your own. Nobody gets to tell you when the “right time” to come out is, and anyone who judges you is forgetting that in the not-so-distant past, being open about your lifestyle had very real, hurtful and sometimes violent consequences.

I’m not, really. I’ve seen my mental health and well-being decline precipitously, and my anxiety is through the roof.

Can we talk about the necklace? Damn, that was beautiful. Looked like maybe pink Tourmaline or maybe even pink sapphires (she could afford them, I’m sure). That’s some good accessorizing.

For real! It’s gotten to the point where reading about politics is borderline triggering. I’m not just anxious- I’m disgusted and furious and humiliated and I feel like our entire democracy has been bad-touched by Trump.

I feel like it would be a good idea for everyone in the country to talk to a therapist when this election is over.

I do love a man in a well-tailored suit.

What a shit world this is.

I feel sorry for all the other people who have put their time and effort into this film, only to have it be overshadowed by Parker’s sordid past. For me, personally, the whole project is tainted now.

You are my hero. Please let us know how that goes.

HOLY GOD. What did I just read?

And that, in a nutshell, is why I am against mandatory voting in this country. People are just too stupid. I’d rather they have the choice to opt out, because I don’t want to live with the consequences of their stupid, stupid decisions.

I’m usually inclined to be more forgiving of films that are set “in space” because I am a huge sci-fi nerd, but... yeah. This looks like a mess.
