No, just the Chevy Uplander.
No, just the Chevy Uplander.
On the flip side their approach to the Model S is very novel. Instead of the silly 4-5 year product cycle to convince consumers that they need an upgrade, they continuously upgrade parts. Sometimes month to month.... so that the 2020 looks like the 2012 but is very different under the skin. Different software,…
I had an ‘09 Fit, and you would be amazed at how much crap you can stuff in that car. It’s like a friggin void. Also was more fun to drive than my previous Civic (‘05 EX SE manual). I definitely have a soft spot for the Fit.
This appears to be an American Enterprise Institute graph based on US Bureau of Labor Statistics data. We all know that cell phone costs have not declined by 50% since 1998, nor have new car prices stayed flat.
Yeah, it’s fairly solved, depending on the type of motor. Fixed-RPM induction motors really, really don’t like being forced below their fixed speed (slip) and will draw a ton of current and heat up. A car motor by definition needs some sort of variable-speed control system so it’s not nearly as much of an issue.…
We don’t have salt issues here generally.
Woah, that’s a great one. Good call.
I think we all realize that trucks are necessary for lots of jobs, and are thankful for their utility.
LOP at a real farmer moving produce with a light duty pickups. 300 round trips with an open bed later and his produce has all rotted.
“Hurr hurr hurr, get off that thing and come check out a real bike over here, competitively priced against full size pickups.”
I haven’t even read the article yet, but you guys should really do more wrenching related write-ups here. I’m sure many would find it useful, myself included. Everyone says Youtube is your friend, which is true, but only to an extent when the guy in the video is a redneck with an accent so thick and explanations so…
I would also add the LC500 to its list of competitors, especially because it would be really close between that and the 911 if I were shopping in this segment. The BMW isn’t even worth going down to the dealer and sitting in compared to the 911 and LC IMO.
Oh right... BMWs used to be attractive.
I had a Soul rental once and it may have been the only car I’ve ever driven where I actually had to raise the seat from its lowest position. I’m 6'5" so usually I’m looking for as much headroom as possible, but in that thing when you cranked the seat down even I could barely see over the steering wheel. :-)
The Mini is actually a really good choice. My old roomate who was 6'2" and 250 or so had plenty of room in his.
LOL glad I wasn’t the only one
The only socialism politically acceptable in the US are for corporations and the wealthy.
They’re parked on the lot right next to the $35k Tesla Model 3s.
It’ is not a “valid point.”
