Have you seen his show? He is spouts islamophobia regularly. So yeah, he’s racist. But also - watch the clip. He dismisses Ice Cubes feelings about things he says in the first minute. He is not listening, he feels no consequence.

I like Julie’s attitude. I cannot stand “cameos” in reboots. The appearance of a former star in a reboot often feels based more on soggy sentimentality than legitimate plot development. A maudlin cameo can drag a picture down into the worst kind of syrupy audience-pandering.
