yeah, a coworker snuck up behind me and scared the bejesus out of me while i was reading some

you call it politics, i call it a wealthy (now former) athlete with a loud voice publicly making it clear that he thinks i don’t deserve to be treated with the same respect as other people. i’m happy for you that you can plug your ears and sing “LA LA LA” and pretend lgbt issues are “just politics” but some of us are

I have found that you have to experiment a little to find what foods work for you - what fills me up doesn’t work for others in my family. It may also vary day to day based on what your activity or other variables. For me I need a balanced meal with a chunk of lean protein, a bunch of robust veggies like brussels

What are you talking about???

Ah, Wesleyan. Keep fucking up, you gorgeous institution.

Hey, I didn’t get a harrumpf out of that guy

“That’s just not enough to live on for decades after retirement.”

Greg Hardy, who was suspended after being accused of violently abusing his then-girlfriend.

Burneko, this is right and good and correct and excellent and for a (one can only assume very) temporary period you are not the absolute worst.

That’s like walking into someone else’s house and lighting a scented candle you brought with you. It’s fucking weird and completely unacceptable.

I think the thing that annoys me the most about vaping is that everyone had to change their “no smoking” signs to “no smoking or vaping.” Apparently vaping inside was the first thing everyone tried.

I vape and always always ask before vaping indoors. There probably isn’t a secondhand smoke issue, but you can see and smell the clouds, so why would I think everyone would be okay with it? At parties or whatever, I’ll step outside unless specifically told I can vape inside.

I think it was fine for you to ask her to go outside. It’s much, much better than lighting up a cigarette and your health risk is much lower, but there us definitely still steam and nicotine being aerosilized. It’s sort of the equivalent of someone using an inhaler or a nebulizer in your house, except with nicotine

I would. There’s still a smell and a bunch of nicotine mist in the air. Plus, it’s your house.

I know it’s maybe an unfair way to look at things but I can’t help but think to the various times I’ve clicked to read the comments on any ESPN.com article that even vaguely attempts to discuss anything dealing with race or gender or sexuality and the idea for the kind of site Greg advocates ESPN maybe putting

In polite society, money is a taboo topic. You don’t ask friends how much they pay for rent, and you’re not supposed

Do what you can, yes. I think more people probably fall into the other camp, which is to say they can afford to put more toward the match but they just aren’t because they’re not aware of how awesome the 401k match is. But I know people who are on the other side of that, too. They inherently know it’s a great deal so

My two shelter mutts thank you for your service! <3
