There's PDAnet on the market for free if you want to tether without rooting.

@masterbrew: You have to unlock your iPhone to access tether. If you root your G1 you can access Wi-Fi tethering without any software too. If you don't want to root you can simply download software/app; an option that isn't available on the iPhone.

It's AT&T's Motorola phone.

Where is Chrome's "Status bar"? I don't see anything on the bottom-right corner. #googlechrome
