See I am a little older than you and it was my DREAM to go on Carmen Sandiego or Legends of the Hidden Temple. It was like all I ever wanted in life.

I used to think the show was set in the 70s until I started noticing little things: cell phones, mentions of contemporary movies, cars, etc. It is not set in any real time period.

If you have a 6 year old, you can be damn sure you wouldn’t forget. Will the 6 year olds of today care about Trolls when they are 9-10? That remains to be seen.

Honestly, I am happy for Bond to die and for them to just take up the mantle with different properties that aren’t as tied to the franchise. John Wick, Kingsman etc are really doing a good job filling that void. I don’t need to see more Bond.

DC keeps releasing these PG-13 animated movies. Even the Teen Titans one was seriously too intense for my 6yo. I am just looking for a fun animated superhero movie with a female lead. She really liked Batgirl in the Lego Batman movie, but that isn’t enough. We have started watching reruns of She-Ra on Netflix.

Now if only they made a Wonder Woman movie that was anywhere remotely appropriate for children who still play with dolls. Little girls (6-7) need their own version of Lego Batman/ Animated Spider-man movie too.
