My 5 year old is in love with Squirrel Girl. I read her the comic (don’t know how much she understands but she loves the “kick butts” parts) and she’s got a poster up in her room and a little Tippy Toe squirrel puppet. You know it is really dumb events like these that make me glad I just read Hellcat, Ms Marvel, Squirrel Girl, and Howard the Duck and don’t bother with any of the other nonsense. I managed to make it through the last stupid thing (Secret Wars) without any problems.

The author’s notes in Squirrel girl are are my favorite things in comics right now. That whole comic is a gift. If Mockingbird has some of the same light touch then I am on board for picking it up.

Yeah it is nuts i can’t watch old Rescue Rangers, Tailspin, etc on Netflix. Either create your own version of TV land with classic cartoon shows or let them go onto Netflix or Hulu.
