Have I mentioned lately my belief that Hillary is almost certain to win the presidency because our nation has collectively decided to go back to the 90s?

Ugh I know! And I should have KNOWN that! I picked 28 which is the average number that people picked, and therefore the wrong one. The actual answer was 19 - which is 2/3 of 28 which is the number that everyone should pick.
He and Erica Henderson are doing Jughead together too. From what he said, it sounded like everybody wanted it they just need to work out scheduling
Go try Howard the Duck too. Chip Zdarsky is killing it. Also, from what he told me at Comic Con, there may be a Howard/ Squirrel Girl crossover coming soon.
Honestly i can buy a teenage boy getting bit by a spider and developing superpowers more than I can buy a teenage boy with no background in cosplay design making something so professional looking.
Emperor’s Blades is a stellar, stellar debut. Really compelling characters and worldbuilding. I enjoyed the sequel as well, though not quite as much. I’m looking forward to the 3rd.
Yeah I have faith that Spielberg will manage it somehow. He’s friends with EVERYBODY. Can you just imagine if instead of some of the movies referenced, they use some of his own. SQUEE
I have like a ton of Scott C stuff including original sketches he has made for me at cons. I’m a really big fan. Art costs what art costs. Either you want to spend it or you don’t. All I was saying was that should you WANT to resell, there is a market for Scott Campbell art out there
Scott C’s art resells very well if that is a concern you have. This is a limited edition print which is why it is going for so much. Some of his tiny Game of Thrones showdowns are going for $99 on ebay and they are half the size at least. Scott is super popular.
Actually when she says she wants to watch Star Wars she almost exclusively means A New Hope. Which is odd because you would think with her love of the god damned Minions that she would be all over Jar Jar. Also, to be honest, she watched the prequels at her dad’s house and I don’t even OWN them on DVD so her options…
Seriously. Listen, I have a 4.5 year old girl who has watched the new trailer about a dozen times. She keeps asking me when it is December because she wants to dress up and bring her pool noodle lightsaber with her to the movie theater. Her favorite of the films is A New Hope. Last night she ate Star Wars mac and…
I don’t think it was necessarily Furiosa herself that made Fury Road so successful, but rather the fact that there were just SO MANY interesting and varied female characters. I don’t have a problem with Furiosa not being in the next one, but I really really hope that we see the same kind of gender balance in future…
“And the Emmy goes to — FIREFLY!!”
Maybe Randyll Tarley? Can he call Sam a cocksucker please and thank you.
There aren’t any deal breakers for me as far as movies that they HAVE to like, but if they list like Transformers or anything with Adam Sandler made in the past 10 years among their favorites I don’t think that we are particularly compatible.
Don’t forget the post POST credits scene with everyone’s favorite trashcan raccoon baby.
Russell Crowe will probably play some bad guy/ gorilla hunter asshole. I could care. You had me at Tom Hiddleston in some form of safari wear with his shirt buttons mostly undone covered in sweat fighting giant monsters. I’m a very easy to please.
According to the recent news it is coming out next year. He just took a bunch of high level meetings with movie studios looking to turn the books into a franchise. Expect an announcement about an actual date to coincide with an announcement about film rights/ director/ writer announcements. This is all a business.
In this much I can agree that there has been a lot of oversaturation of marketing. There are just so many wonderful children’s books that aren’t tied to television shows or movies. I think the real issue is that the books now that are the CHEAP ones are the ones that ARE and in that regard I sort of get where you are…
